Ruins dot Athas. This article concerns the most important ruins.

• Arkhold, barely a village, filled with foul insane humanoids. Home to loads of treasure.
• Bleak Tower rises out of the Silt Sea.
• Bodach is a city filled with undead. They are rumored to be controlled by a powerful defiler.
• Giustenal rises out of the Silt Sea. The Caller of Darkness lures its victims there.
• Kalidnay blew up during the Green Age due to irresponsible use of psionics.
• Yaramuke was once led by Queen Sielba. Yaramuke and Urik went to war, and Urik's King Hamanu came out the winner. As his forces poured into the city, he unleashed a powerful spell killing everyone in it, including those of his forces there. The Dragon of Tyr was not happy when it came to collect its levy, but Hamanu was able to placate it by offering it the treasures of Yaramuke.
