Rocco Perri, hero of the downtrodden, purveyor of spirits, Wise Guy and Wizard. Most Bad Guys aren't evil and Rocco is no exception, he's just a good capitalist. Hiring himself out to the mob as an enforcer and rum running with his wife working hard to keep business in order and launder the money, Rocco establishes himself as a figure prohibition history. In the world of business, Rocco shines because of his one true philosophy:

Rocco is abducted, restrained with manacles that disrupt his magic and locked in the trunk of a car, which is driven into the lake. Making a deal with a faerie for escape, he gets back to the city to find his wife and associates murdered. Burning for revenge in a big way, Rocco can't escape the fact that his is the kind of thing that happens to a...

Rocco made a deal with Titania for power and his seven years of service skip him across mortal time to the new millennium. The Faeries thank him with a golden watch filled with summer fire and dump him back in Toronto with no memory of his service. Rocco starts seeking the truth, finding his old allies just don't trust him after his absence, he resorts to personal injury and property damage. It's a heck of a fix, but that's the retirement package for the:
Greensworn of the Summer Court.

Needing a patch up, Rocco finds his way into the lab of Doctor Urs. contracts to help him with his experiments for the same reason he enjoys making soup bowls out of faces and fillin them with chowder:

[edit] Another path crossed
Nikolai comes to Rocco for help with his Faerie but Rocco doesn't want to attract the attentions of Winter. Rocco makes a deal with Sorcerer Connor Breen: Connor helps Nikolai and Rocco becomes Connor's spy in the White Council. They reluctantly reconfirm Rocco as a Wizard, on the condition he spy on Breen. It strikes Rocco, in the mess, that he's managed to get into some ugly deals before faeries even entered into the situation.
Well, Rocco can now say 'I -AM- on the White Council.'
