Kurn is one of the two "sealed" cities of Athas.
Over a thousand years ago, the sorcerer-king of Kurn, Oronis, cut off access to other cities. Of course, trading, mainly through House Azeth, continues.
Kurn has a good relationship with the nearby Silvaraak Tribe of aarakocra.
