  • The City divides into Neighbourhoods: units of territory and general backdrop for events
  • These might be as small as Little Italy or large as Downsview
  • They may have Themes or Threats and Faces associated with them
  • A Ward or Faction may control them or they could be Neutral Ground
  • Neighbourhoods may be reworked as needed

Contents

[edit] Central

[edit] Liberty Village

St. George, Dragon

Liberty Village, Park Dale

Park Dale may already be gentrified, but Liberty Village remains Toronto's equivalent of Soho. The Dragon's take on this is to dump newcomers from the nevernever into the area. Why waste good real estate on charity cases anyhow?

  • Exhibition Place
  • Fort York
  • Maple Leaf Bunker
  • Drake Hotel
  • Gladstone Hotel
  • Factory Theatre

[edit] The Garden

St. George, Dragon

Garden District, Finance District

For many this is the golden heart of the city. It's certainly true in the dragon's case. The sky scrapers come in every style: from jagged, stylized to plain flat fortresses and from the glare of and glass gold to the stark black obelisks of stone and concrete.

  • CN Tower
  • Eaton Center
  • TD Centre
  • Rogers Stadium
  • Union Station Labyrinth

[edit] The Islands

St. Lawrence, Seventh Ward

Toronto Islands, Port Lands,

The Islands are mostly cold and wet and windy. For a few months of the year they are a tourist paradise, the rest of the year a dreary patch for eccentrics and the criminal element. The landscape of the island has changed over time but mortal records don't do it justice. They are the remains of an extensive chain that used to stretch into the lake along the ley-line that runs through the city.

  • Ontario Place
  • Pinewood Movie Studio
  • Centreville Amusement Park
  • Island Airport
  • Submerged Ruins

[edit] The Distillery

St. Lawrence, Seventh Ward

Distillery District

Formerly the artists bit of town and formerly formerly the famous brewery district, this corner of Downtown is the definition of up and coming. Despite the intrusion of the railways, these brick buildings are being aggressively restored to be the lofts of the fashionable new rich. The outbreak of new gods in the city left quite a few to settle here as the Norse had already carved out a nice chunk.

  • Steamwhistle Brewery
  • Redpath Sugar Refinery

[edit] The Annex

Neutral, White Council

The Annex, UofT Campus

The UofT Campus is Wizard territory. They added The Annex as a buffer against the Black Court. This bit of town tends to die after nine at night but it's just about the safest part of Downtown.

  • Toronto Police Headquarters
  • Royal Ontario Museum
  • Queens Park
  • Ontario Legislature
  • (Toronto) General Hospital

[edit] Cabbagetown

Neutral, Aware Mortals

Cabbage Town, Regent Park

Poverty has made the mortals here quite mean. When the public housing project was originally funded, a surprisingly amount of the money was allocated to a special task force to deal with anything from the spooky side looking to take a foot hold. Most of the planned buildings were geared towards this purpose as well though they turned out to be just as inhospitable to the residents.

  • St. Paul's Basilica
  • St. Batholomew's Anglican Church
  • St. James Cemetery
  • Necropolis Cemetery
  • Riverdale Farm

[edit] Forest Hill

St. John, White Court

Forest Hill

Money Lives here. Rivaling York Mills for sheer concentration of wealthy residents the district has been home to both Black Court Vampires and the Toronto Alchemists Society but now it is just another playing field for the Machiavellian games of the White Court.

  • Casa Loma
  • Wychwood Park
  • Grace Church on the Hill
  • Holy Blossom Temple
  • Mount Pleasant Cemetery

[edit] Chinatown

Neutral, Aware Mortals

Chinatown

Never get involved in a land war in Asia. The Toronto Dragon, The Black Court and the White Court have all been repelled by mortal organizations here. Here, as with most parts of the city, vanilla mortals remain their own worst enemy.

  • Ontario Art Gallery
  • Kensington Market
  • No. 8 Hose Station
  • The Grange
  • OCAD

[edit] Ossington

St. Andrew, None

Ossington

Rumors and Myths abound around the territory of St. Andrews Ward. How the power that ruled here became forgotten is a mystery few care to probe. Other wards have expanded around it but don't intrude into...The Ossington Zone

  • Dufferin Mall
  • Honest Ed's
  • Centre for Addiction and Mental Health
  • Trinity St. Pauls United Church
  • Canadian Museum of Contemporary Art

[edit] West

[edit] Weston

Neutral, Aware Mortals

Weston

Old and classy neighbourhood pushed out the Black Court back in the day.

  • Probably some caverns.
  • Maybe a haunted bit leftover form the hurricane hazel flood.

[edit] The HumberLands

Neutral, Anarchy

Humber Summit, Humber Valley, High Park

The line of greenway following the humber river is the typical territory of out of town were-critters. They often come down through the north and follow the other green spaces of the city to move about. Packs do form, but often break up quickly after challenging Ward powers or being hunted down by mortals.

  • The Palace Pier
  • High Park
  • Humber Bay Park
  • Old Mill Inn & Spa
  • Park Lawn Cemetery

[edit] Etobicoke

No Ward, Unknown

Richview, New Toronto, Etobicoke

No one screws around in Etobicoke. Whatever lives there deals in death and has eyes everywhere. Rumor has it that the Jade Court is actually involved here.

  • Woodbine Racetrack
  • Mimico Correctional center
  • Toronto West Detention Center

[edit] York

St. Patrick, Black Court

York

The population here is shrinking. Ghoul attacks, long feeding by the black court and intrusions from the humberlands add to the mortal criminal pressures and drive out good people.

  • abandoned CPR Railyard
  • Ravina Gardens Crypt
  • Prospect Cemetery
  • yorkdale shopping centre
  • Acme Machines (Ingram Dr. Abandoned)

[edit] North

[edit] Don Lands

St. James, Summer Court

Don Village, Don Mills, East York

Great tract of land following the Don River and only interrupted by the Fairview Freehold. It is the boarder between Winter and Summer in toronto and not a bad place according to the residents.

  • Japanese Culture Center
  • Science Center
  • Sunnybrook Health Centre

[edit] York Mills

St. James, Summer Court

York

This is how the summer court would shape toronto if it only could. Not a playground for the rich but a garden: Low, tidy, green and welcoming.

  • Hoggs Hollow
  • York Cemetery
  • Miller Tavern
  • Government of Canada Buildings
  • St. John's Anglican Church

[edit] The Downs

St. Patrick, Black Court

Downsview

The newer part of Black Court territory, Downsview is also contested with a ghoul clan, werepacks and the white courts attempts at gentrification. It contains contradictions like affluent York University and the infamous Jane and Finch within spitting distance of one another.

  • Downsview Airport
  • York University - RCC institute of technology
  • Black Creek Pioneer Village
  • MacMillan Rail Yard
  • Beechwood Cemetery

[edit] The Fair Freehold

Neutral Ground, Wild Fey

Fairview

The Fairview Mall, appropriately between the territory of Summer and Winter, is a freehold controlled by the Wild Fey. Belittled by calling it The Peanut after a nearby street or the 'Fairyview Freehold.' This is not unlike calling homo-sapiens apes or monkeys. Either way, the mortals don't mind as those fey that prefer the hunt tend to do so in winter's territory.

  • Fairview Mall

[edit] East

[edit] The Beaches

St. Lawrence, Seventh Ward

Upper Beaches, Leslieville

Trendy neighbourhood and tourist trap, The Beaches were exactly the kind of place the Water Spirits used to enjoy. It requires little attention due to the concentration of informed mortals. The only trouble is it lacks a lot of supernatural or economic resources as well.

  • The Beach - Literally a Beach
  • Ashbridge Estate - Home to several secret societies
  • Ashbridges Bay Water Treatment Plant

[edit] The Cliffs

St. David, Winter Court

Birchcliff, Cliffcrest, Kennedy Park, Bermondsey

The Cliffs was one of the early claims of St. David, about as soon as mortals bothered to put cottages on the bluffs. The Water Spirits of St. Lawrence long objected and worked quite hard to erode the territory: Literally. Deeper in there is still the graveyard of an industrial district.

  • Crescent Town
  • Bluffers Park
  • Toronto Hunt Club
  • Pine Hills Cemetery

[edit] The Jungle

St. David, Winter Court

Bendale, Woburn, Agincourt, Malvern

The Jungle often looks pleasant, but the entire area has a tension to it. It is the heart of Winter in Toronto and has some of its grimmer landmarks though Mab's dominion keeps the violence to mostly personal or mortal scales. Typical mortals feel the influence in the habits of aggressive driving and the high rate of runaway children.

  • Scarborough Civic Center
  • Pacific Mall
  • CPR Rail Yards

[edit] The Hills

St. David, Winter Court

Rouge Hill, West Hill, Rouge Park, Morningside Park

The very back end of St. David is quiet. Too quiet. What lurks among these relatively affluent suburbs is not limited to kids breaking curfew. The ravines are haunted by at least one old native american boogeyman that's never been dealt with, as well as a few burrowing horrors. The Mob has retained a few manors in the area, far removed from the worst of their business. On the bright side, one can always drop by UofT Scarborough Campus for some culture.

  • UofT Scarborough
  • Toronto Zoo
  • Some Mafia Mansion
  • The Old Asbestos Plant

[edit] The Village

Neutral Ground

Scarborough Village, Guildwood

Mab seemed amused by mortal objection to Winters presence and had the area made Neutral Ground in Toronto. The Guildwood Inn was a negotiations site in Toronto for some time until a 'disturbance' made it 'less hospitable.'
