Dregoth

Dregoth the Ravager, aka Vektron, ruled the city of Giustenal as a sorcerer-king long ago, having taken it from Taraskar the Lion King in the Green Age. While there, Dregoth worked on a project to transform "the worthy" (aka humans) into first-generation dray.

His city was attacked by Abalach-Re, the Grand Vizier of Raam, and possibly other sorcerer-kings, but her templars didn't find all of his secrets. There is some evidence Dregoth may have died during the assault and may have been replaced or confused with "Vektron".

Later on, the first-generation dray were banished to Kragmorta, an underground lava cavern, while the second-generation dray were taken to New Giustenal.

Dregoth's plans are unknown, but they included building a massive undead army and possibly creatures from "other worlds", such as Bracorr the fire giant shaman.

Dregoth or Vektron has been recruiting people to come to New Giustenal. Our heroes did just that, although given the new theology, may have confused some instructions. But they're willing to learn. They believe Dregoth to be a "demon" compared to Vektron, and so oppose Dregoth while following Vektron's instructions.
