Short-range teleport

This is a customization of the Have a thing stunt, specially designed for Christya Desdemona Heyrdahl's pre-fall artifact, the Haleogelethan Plinth.

You have an object that allows you to travel between two points in space, apparently without crossing the intervening space. As an ordinary action, and at the cost of 1 Fate Point, this object will allow you to completely ignore a single physical barrier of any value, as long as that value is due to an obstacle of some kind.

The details here are deliberately vague, but as a guideline:

• Only the wielder may travel in this fashion
• This works over short distances only
• The behaviour of the object is undefined when attempting to teleport into space occupied by solid matter.

These things and others should be decided on a case-by-case basis: different objects will work in different ways and in different situations.
