[edit] Issue 1

'Casual Caped Crusaders.'

A team of newly emerging heroes shows up in New York to swat down chaos. Stopping the rampages of a giant old time robot, Annihilating a an alien fleet from refitting and stealing all the aircraft in New York.

But after celebrating their victory and debating what they should be called, they encounter some of the less flimsy Crusaders and entered their dimension who leave cryptic demeaning answers in the coffee drinking wake.

[edit] Issue 2

'Ascent and Descent'

The team of Capes secures a small spaceship and then whoops fire on some unfriendly chaps assembled by Doctor Vicivi - planning to use the ship not to counter the threat to earth but to...well, do something evil likely.

Crossing directly into the corporate armada of Barney and walking onto his ship. One quick act of piracy later, they pursued The Crusaders to the Manhattan Public Library orbiting a black hole and again took the low road of extensive violence.

[edit] Issue 3

'Push My Button'

From a Squid attack on spring break to brain washing a girl they didn't know into slavery, it was a slow day for Collateral Damage. Learning the eight person equal opportunity Starbuckers found a back door to barney's universe it was road trip time.

After causing massive issues in The Corporation, Collateral Damage made their way to the solid gold Stockholder's Citadel and faced off with the CEO Barney. After proving invulnerable and deadly, the team gave him an aneurysm by annoyance and left some new stolen furniture.

[edit] Issue 4

'Barracuda'

In another universe...On a morning talkshow, city level superheroes in Arizona accidentally maim the audience. After the show a black custom jet rockets in behind Santa's Sleigh. Santa turns out to be part viking but Black Coat and Mega turn out to be vulnerable to missiles. The Jet turns out to be vulnerable to super-sonic longboats.

Tracking the second Pilot, Lance, Santa and Freeman enter the headquaters of a tech development firm where they find their quarry. As it turns out, the company is run by some evil lich person whom buys time by warping the building with otherworldly evil.

[edit] Issue 5

'There should be laws...' Lance slays the internals of the building and the team escapes. Chasing down a modified racing car escaping from the scene it becomes apparent America's highways need a lane for car on car jousting.

Back at the city, heroes are fighting over the new top city hero. Freeman's dog projectile ingests one. A giant power assimilating snake monster approaches the city. Another Lich assault. Lobotomizing it, it finally dies by building barrage. Buildings from Debris Man prove useless against the Hooligans. He's imprisoned in a thermos.

The Hooligans proceed to defeat countless city heroes and shaming them. Finally meeting a cyborg Mega, he's switched to good from evil, and helps end the madness via blackmail TV broadcast.

[edit] Issue 6

'Apocalypse to the Rescue!' Hooligans attempt to bring justice to Lichman, but it turns out to be slightly out of their league.

Enter Collateral Damage fresh from defending the American Constitution. What is so bad that these guys actually help the matter? Find out in the next issue.

[edit] Issue 7

'Justice wears soft slippers.' Lancelot, Deep Blue and Bullseye find themselves in a mental ward. Rather than reason their way out, they bust free in the middle what appears to be an abduction of The Tick. But can they do it without their amazing powers?

Yes. Actually they can recruit local heroes an old hippie's howitzer and pimp suits to do much much more. Assaulting Jacob 'Jules' Vern's party, they reclaim lance's sword and car and interrogate the local supervillain sans evil butler. Finding the return ticket to their dimensions a linchpin holding back their own worlds doom, they repower and seek another way.

[edit] Epilogue

'Circle' And on the Seventh Day, it began again. Just like Groundhog Day or Majora's Mask. Four AM Pacific Time. The heroes appear back at ground zero - a public park. This time not imprisoned and drugged, they are free to begin investigating.

Dealing with Jules Vern, A Lime Gelatinous Galileo and other local figures, they eventually learn the true source of their situtaion. A kind of balancing agent, magical anti-christ appears on the seventh day to restore the balance - and whom he kills is erased from the circle of repeating time. Strapping on a sorceress' enchanted clubbing gear, the heroes cross dress their way to freedom via explosion. And upon escaping, see 'other california' return to the nothing it was summoned from.
