| Growing Up: | The second youngest girl of seven in a very well to do Hong Kong shipping family, Andrea grew up listening to impossible stories from her grandmother about her grandfather John Howard. Her parents were very distant from her but surrounded her with the best tutors in all subjects she became interested in even sword fighting, gymnastics and Confucian morality, all of which she excelled at. All of this tutoring set her away from other people with the exception of some of her younger siblings. |

| Rising Conflict: | Things change drastically when Andrea realizes her family's main income came from various criminal activities both mundane and supernatural. She went to her grandmother for advice on what to do but found out that she was a sorceress of great power and the defacto leader of the organization, who was also responsible for John Howard's death some time ago. Defeating her in a debate on Confucian principles during an exchange of sword play and magic Andrea won John Howard's sword and a great sum of money provided that she never tell anyone of what happened that night. The next week she flew out of Hong Kong to Toronto to start school at the University of Toronto and a new life away from her old, except for a reoccuring dream of an old british man who calls out to her for help. |
