Absalom
Absalom is the high priest (and second-highest ranking templar) of Dregoth. An undead dray, he was present at the fall of Giustenal. Dregoth began to transform him into a dray, then slew him and made him undead during the process.
He can transform into various dray forms (such as Akrag, the bath manager) and his true form is hideous and fearsome to behold.
He believed that Dregoth's plan to make himself a true god on Athas was problematic, and got the heroes to wreck it. He seems nice, but his loyalty is to the dray. To that end, he has tried to keep the first generation dray alive.
His chief rival is high templar Mon-Adderath.
