Abalach-Re

Grand Vizier Abalach-Re considers herself the high priestess to Badna, a multi-armed god. Despite being at least 1000 years old the Grand Vizier is incredibly beautiful and has strong "appetites", openly sleeping with any male humanoid who catches her eye. This has not made her popular with the people of Raam, who blame her behavior for the misfortunes which have struck their city. Her city has devolved into chaos, and she barely controls it. Even her templars ignore her orders.

The Grand Vizier's palace is extraordinarily-heavily guarded, being the only sorcerer-king's on Athas built to defend the ruler from the regular populace, not just rival kings. Her palaces contain enough weapons and armor to outfit the entire able-bodied population of the city, but she has yet to release it, for fear that arming the entire population would result in her overthrow.

Long ago, Abalach-Re's forces conquered the city of Giustenal, defeating and possibly killing its sorcerer-king, Dregoth. Her forces were rumored to have killed him as well.

The heroes met with her recently, and found out that she doesn't really care about her city. She's even sponsored them fighting Dregoth's efforts in the Silt Sea.
